In the wake of all this rampant creativity, I've been flattered with requests by other moms to make for their kids. I readily took up the call to knit a scarf for Will, and last week another friend took me to the yarn store to choose yarn for knitting up a Neighborly for her girls. Before I got too far down the road of making for other people (again), I thought I'd take a little extra time to create for my own little people first. Liesl at Oliver + S provides a super-easy (and super-cute!) Lazy Days skirt pattern on her blog, so I thought it was time my skirt-lovin' girl had some new clothes!
Thanks, Liesl, for a non-intimidating-yet-beautiful pattern! My girl is so happy!
Also, I have to give a nod to Jennifer, the source of the Neighborly pattern. When I checked in on her blog recently, she had made a skirt for her girls from the Princess and the Pea fabric, and that is the skirt that got my gears turning for these.
Jennifer, those skirts you've made are truly gorgeous - what beautiful fabrics you have!! Lucky girl!!!

Thank you, Gayle! They were so easy to make, and my girl LOVES them! Sophie needs some too!
