Time to get this wagon train a-movin'!
Another poignant post from Small Notebook caught my eye: this time, it was about moving on from hobbies one has outgrown. In many ways, I feel that post described what blogging has been for me. It was a powerful outlet, a fantastic venue for sharing, a space where I could have a presence in an online community I enjoy so much. But lately, when I have the time to sit and share, I find I'd rather sit and DO.
I've been knocking out quite a few projects, large and small, trying to get a handle on my never-ending to-do (and want-to-do) list. It's been really satisfying! I'd like to share how-to's on the simpler creative works, because I have gained so much inspiration and knowledge from others doing so on their blogs...
Maybe it's not yet time to move on from blogging, but it is time to move on from typepad. I stopped paying for my blog here (thus the basic format you now see) and set myself up on Blogger at http://amuseabroad.blogspot.com.
